I just want to say that you are in good hands with Pavel. First, I used his translation services which I found to be excellent, timely and accurate. After I decided to plan a trip, Pavel helped with all aspects of my journey. I must admit that I was a bit nervous about coming to such a distant country where I didn’t speak the language. However, when I came to Kiev to meet the girl to which I was writing, he took very good care of us and the trip went perfectly. I have absolutely no complaints and I would recommend his valuable and efficient services to anyone. In fact, I am going to plan another trip in several months and I won’t think of using anyone else.

I wish I would have known Pavel on my first trip to Kiev. Pavel is very kind and trustworthy and does everything in his power to make your visit as comfortable as possible. He will arrange to meet you at the airport, find a nice apartment or hotel, buy flowers for your lady, arrange transportation and act as an interpreter. Pavel’s English is excellent. As far as I’m concerned, Pavel is the man to see in Kiev.

For those of you contemplating a visit to the Ukraine (Kiev, in particular) I am going to give you the best advice possible from a very nervous and inexperienced traveler. Contact Pavel and put your fate in his hands. A little about me, I’m a 39 year old American who, with the exception of going to Canada fishing, has never left the United States. I’ll say it for you, I’m a naive, soft, and dumb American! In spite of all this, Pavel took care of me like I was one of his own. I was drawn to Kiev in pursuit of a lady and Pavel helped me in that aspect as well after determining that I was not a “sex tourist” (Note — Pavel is a honorable man who is proud of his country and city — do not insult him with such requests), he evaluated my progress and guided me on what is acceptable in meeting a Ukrainian lady for the first time. Pavel was punctual and kept his word on everything he told me (which my lady informed me that was very rare…) and made sure that he did everything he could to make sure that I had a successful and enjoyable visit to the Ukraine. In short, Pavel is not like a hired guide. He is more like a member of my family, who just happens to be in Kiev. A true professional, he will always give you his best. I know I can be difficult and there were times in retrospect a lesser man would have ditched me at the first chance. Not Pavel, he stuck with me through all my trials and tribulations and made sure I made it back with nothing but fond memories and stories to share that will last a lifetime! I am already making plans for a return trip and rest assured the first person I am checking with is Pavel. To sum it up, go to Ukraine if you have the chance, you will not forget it, and contact Pavel for your needs in country. He is THE man to see about having a good trip.

Hey guys. I have just come back from a great visit to Ukraine. Totally worth it. My advise: visit Kiev and Yalta. And learn few Russian words. My guide in Kiev was Pavel. I recommend him to anyone. He is a very helpful guy, trustworthy and honest (seldom in Ukraine). His best quality is he is available in emergencies! Call him anytime, and he will go out of his way to save you. He was my “911” number in Ukraine!

Pavel is an excellent host and translator, and he has exceeded all my expectations of a guide I could rely on in Ukraine. In addition to his professional service, he is a man of flawless character and utmost virtue. I consider him far beyond a servant, as to me he is a friend I would trust my life with when I visit Ukraine.

Hello Pavel,
Just wanted to thank you for the excellent service you have given me during my three trips to Ukraine as I traveled through Kiev. I have always found your service to professional and friendly. Even my fiance Elena who you met thought you were a really super guy and she is pretty picky about who she give compliments to. So now you know you do a good job. I look forward to seeing you and using your services again on my next trip. Thanks again for a job well done.

Paul is an excellent interpreter and guide. He has excellent English skills that go along with his supportive and easy going personality. I have used him on my last two trips to Ukraine, and have also called him for support and advice many times. I give him my highest endorsement. Feel free to email me if you have questions.

Anyway, the SUV I ran into was trying to beat the three lanes of traffic that I was in front of. I was not able to see him coming, because I was using a mini-bus as a shield. When I thought it was safe to accelerate past the bus, this SUV came out of nowhere. I was dazed with a slight concussion and a broken collar bone. I was not able to drive my motorcycle so I called the BMW representative whom I know. They refused to let him take it at first and only relented when he threatened to call the U. S. embassy. The catch was, he had to drive it to a police parking lot and it was impounded. They did not impound the other vehicle, driven by a ukrainian. When I went with pavel (so he could interpret) to retrieve my motorcycle, they refused. They wanted me to admit guilt to an accident I did not cause. We left without the motorcycle. Pavel told me about a life long friend of his is a lawyer. So we called his friend the lawyer and he agreed to meet us the next day (today) and go with us to the police department. I now have my motorcycle. The man admitted to my lawyer that the accident was his fault and offered to pay for the attorneys time. it took all morning but now I have my motorcycle and the matter has been dropped. everyone is happy. the man who caused the accident invited me to his dacha to fish when the weather is good. Under the circumstnaces (his fault) he was very kind and a good gentleman about the entire ordeal. The reason i write is to say again, pavel is more than a guide. his help and his contacts made my life a lot easier. One day when we had spent only a short time trying deal with getting my cable TV and internet service switched to my house, when I went to my pocket to try and pay pavel, he refused to take my money. He understood i have had a hell of a difficlut two weeks and as a friend, that day was on him. He did not want my money. of course, this is pavel’s livlihood and i paid him for his time today and I expect to in the future. I am happy to do so because he is worth more than his fee. pavel is more than my guide, he is my friend. His job is to make foreigners happy and when we’re happy, pavel is happy. I am now back at my flat and I am happy to have my motorcycle back and I am even more happy that pavel is my friend. I hope pavel is happy because I certainly am.

If life is a box of chocolates, then Pavel is the best one in the box! My wife and I were fortunate enough to have Pavel assist us last week during a pilgrimage to the small town in Western Ukraine where my grandparents were born. Pavel provided translating services, arranged lodging for us in Kiev and near the small town, and generally looked out for our interests and safety in every way. By the end of the trip, we felt that Pavel was not just our guide, he was our friend. He is completely honest, sincere, funny, and professional. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone needing a guide or translator.

Pavel is “The Man”
Pavel, My Brother,
Pavel, my Friend!
If you need a guide
He is the best there’s ever been!
If you are new to Ukraine
You will not get lost with Pavel
Even if you leave Pavel’s Kiev on a plane.
Pavel will treat you like you are still in his domain;)
If you are in another city and the phone rings…
It will be Pavel calling to check on things!
Pavel may call 3 times a day
No, he is not lonely…
He just wants you to have a good stay!
He teaches me Russian
I teach him “Southern Slang”
He helps me to search for my destiny
Finding her is so hard to do…
Without Pavel, I wouldn’t have a clue;)
